The show 'Kon Banega Crorepati' has been watched by many and is known by many. Each participating player is given a chance to continue their journey. Different 'life line' options are given for that. This program has often made it clear that this life line is an important link to become a millionaire. Without a life line, becoming a millionaire can never be accomplished. Similarly in real life these are life lines which are the link between our life and death. Once again it became clear yesterday that when you exclude them from your life, your journey towards death accelerates.
Famous industrialist and former chairman of Tata group Cyrus Mistry died in an accident on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad national highway yesterday after hitting a bridge near Charoti Naka at Palghar. From the things that are coming out after this accident, Cyrus Mestri's refusal to life line is the main reason. The car they were traveling in was a Mercedes car which is considered a safe car in India. Mercedes as its name is a very safe and modern car. It has many systems which are designed for the safety of the passengers traveling in this car. But after all, the right and right to use it ultimately rests with the traveler. If they do not perform it, the distance between birth and death decreases due to non-use of life line.
A few weeks ago, Vinayak Mete, a respected leader in Maharashtra politics, also tragically died in a similar accident on the Mumbai-Pune expressway. Even with a safe car like Ford Endeavor, they had to lose their lives. The reason that came to light after this accident was the bypass given to the life line. No matter how safe your car is, if you don't use the life lines provided in it, then the distance between your birth and death will be reduced, no astrologer is needed to tell you. You sit on the front seat or on the back seat. Seat belt is your life line. If you avoid its use, you will be near death in any accident from which no one can prevent you.
In yesterday's accident, both the people who were sitting on the front seat of Cyrus Mestri's car survived. Both the people sitting on the back seat have died. The accident was so severe that the engine of the Mercedes car entered the front part of the car. But despite this, both the people on the front seat were saved because both of them were wearing seat belts. Seat belt was the life line between his life and death. But as the two sitting on the back seat were not wearing seat belts, death overtook them easily. Both died on the spot as their heads hit the front seat. The life line on the front seat saved both of their lives. Both front seat air bags of the Mercedes were deployed but the biggest life line was the seat belt. If the thought of using a life line to catch by the police does not go away, lives will continue to be lost in such accidents. Seat belts are for your life, not the police.
If we do a simple math, it will take about 1 hour to cover a distance of 100 km at a speed of 100 km/h. But if you cover the same distance at a speed of 80 km/h, it will take you 1 hour and 15 minutes.But at the same time the risk to your life in an accident will be half. For every 16 km/hr increase in speed, the risk to your life doubles. It simply means, would you double the risk of your life for 15 minutes? On the expressway or good road because there are police or cameras, drive at the right speed or drive to minimize the risk to your life? This is the question we should ask ourselves. When you ask yourself such questions, whether someone is watching or not will not change the speed of your car. Your car may be capable of driving 200 km/h but the time you get in an emergency is less than half. At the same time, the stress on the brain is increased many times.
A car traveling at a speed of 100 km/h needs a distance of at least 100 meters to come to a complete stop. But if the same speed is 80 km/h then the distance covered will be only 68 meters. This distance is further increased during monsoon when the roads are wet. Apart from this, a lot of things depend on the reaction time of a driver. Obviously, if the speed is high, the time available will be very less and it is not possible to bring the car under control in that time. All this math means only that time can come for anyone but it is in our hands to let that time come or avoid it. Life lines are provided in any car to avoid that time. Use it. Don't buy a car without life line as it will save 1 or 2 lakh rupees.That same 1 to 2 lakh rupees can prolong your life in times of trouble.
No matter how safe and legal you drive, the person in front of you will not drive the same way. In India everyone drives according to their preferences. Whoever likes the lane drives in that lane. When the mood changes, Len also changes without thinking about the past. I need not write more about the way driving licenses are issued in India. When rickshaw pullers, truck pullers, novices, attitude and hawkers meet us every day, if we miss our life line, we should remember that death is waiting for us. Today or tomorrow it will reach us at the pass. Use your life line for that. Follow the traffic rules for your own life if not for anyone else. Reaching 100 km in 15 minutes makes no difference in your life. But don't risk your life for those 15 minutes. Of course this applies to me too. I have had this same violation many times while driving. But I never forget the life line. At my place of employment it is a law of the job to wear a seat belt when sitting in a car. If it breaks, your job could be in jeopardy. This condition, which seemed oppressive earlier, has become a life line for me today.
Be it Cyrus Mestri or Vinayak Mete or a common man like you, us. Don't judge your use of life line by whether you are in the front seat or the back seat, whether or not there are police or cameras. Strap yourself in with a life line the moment you sit in the car. Who knows, you will need it in the next turn.....
