The story of a missed missile ... Vinit Vartak ©

The story of a missed missile ... Vinit Vartak ©

A few days ago, an Indian missile accidentally strayed its way into Pakistan. Traveling 124 kilometers across the border into Pakistan, it landed in Pakistan's Mian Chanu province in just three and a half minutes at super sonic speeds. Pakistan made a lot of noise about this. Pakistan called on the United Nations and its member states to impose sanctions on India. Pakistan has said it will send a letter to all countries to protest India's action. Against this backdrop, India has only take out a leaflet and said we will investigate this matter. Since then, India has not made any official statement on the matter, nor has there been any statement or statement from the Government of India or any of the ministers in office. That is why the story of this missed missile has become very interesting. So let's find out now what exactly this missed missile is.

When India published its leaflet on the incident, it did not name any missile. But according to Pakistan and many defense experts, it was a BrahMos supersonic missile. Let's assume that it was a BrahMos missile. The BrahMos missile was first tested in 2001. This means that for almost 20 years, India has been testing this missile technology and all other systems. It has been changing. It is obvious that the BrahMos that are being made now are much more advanced, more effective than in 2001 and similarly made without any mistakes. A lot of protocols and permissions are taken before firing any missile. Even at the time of missile launch, the clearance of each officer at each level is taken. Just like in a rocket flight, the rocket does not take off unless the mission control director gives a go ahead. Similarly, a missile does not fire. While firing the missile need to input O. T. P. You have to enter the code as Which is applicable for some time. This code is a secret and is handed over to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner. Simply put, in order for a missile to be fired by mistake, there must be a mistake or negligence on all these steps. Because even if one of them misses the step, the missile will not fire. So did India and its defense officials make such a big mistake? If indeed mistakes have been made, isn't the Prime Minister of India expected to convene an immediate Security Council meeting and address all the officials?

The BrahMos is the fastest unmanned cruise missile in the world. It is capable of carrying a 300 kg warhead at 2.8 Mach speed which is simple or nuclear. Due to its tremendous speed, BrahMos is capable of destroying 20 times more than its size. A missile is capable of splitting a military ship in two in an instant. From this we can estimate the strength of Brahmos. So how much would it cost to accidentally fire BrahMos? Couldn't India have taken steps to prevent this from happening? How serious can that be if they all go wrong? One or two Indian cities with a nuclear warhead and a mistaken escape could suddenly disappear from the world map.

Now we come to Pakistan. Their brains are in the knees otherwise. Shortly after the incident, Indian officials conveyed the idea to Pakistan. Until then, They had no idea what had happened in Pakistan. 2-3 hours after the information was given by India, Pakistan held a press conference and told the world that India's missile had landed in its territory. But in order to hide its foolishness, Pakistan came up with the idea to show it's projectile. When it entered Pakistan's borders. Pakistan also showed the projectile of this missile in a press conference. The missile was fired by India from Sirsa in Haryana. For some time, after traveling about 80-100 kms, it suddenly took a 90 degree turn and marched towards Pakistan. Pakistan said the missile had traveled 124 kilometers across the border and landed in Mian Chanu province, Pakistan's military base.

Let's see how the officials in Pakistan keep their brains in knees. The BrahMos is an unmanned missile. It can leap close to the ground. The BrahMos vertical dive can hit the target at an angle of 70-90 degrees. (Vertical dive means that if an enemy is hiding behind a mountain, it can reach the height of the mountain and target the enemy hiding in the valley on the other side.) This is why even the radars of countries like USA, China, Russia, Israel cannot track it. Because this missile is very fast, agile and capable of changing its course in the air. According to Pakistani officials, as soon as BrahMos entered Pakistan's territory, his Chinese air defense system tracked BrahMos and chased him to the end. Now the straightforward question is if your air defense system was just as capable, what was it laying eggs until the missile reached within 124 kilometers? Realizing that the enemy nation's unmanned missile is coming towards us, but why no mechanism has been put in place to stop it? What if there was any kind of warhead on that missile? I mean, an atomic bomb is falling on Pakistan, but will the Pakistani system just keep track of it? How ridiculous this idea is. Without thinking about all this, They are not ashamed to tell the international arena this idea of tracking Brahmos.

The fact is that countries like China and the United States, apart from Pakistan, are worried about these missiles. This is because the Pakistan missile defense system, the AWACS radar or any other radar system of Pakistan did not get a glimpse of India's missiles. This means that BrahMos has proven that it can do its job by circumventing all these systems. Therefore, it is not yet possible to stop BrahMos and create a system to track him. In a way, it is a sign that China's air defense system is now capable of being scrapped. The oldest version of Brahmos is about 290 km from the block. (From the extent to which the missile has covered the distance) India has dropped the missile to a safe place. This means that the Indian system can control the missile system even in the enemy country from India.

Whether the missile was fired accidentally or sent on purpose will not come out. But the manner in which India has handled these issues, politically, internationally and with Pakistan, suggests somewhere that this is a very big mission. The United States has warned Pakistan in the aftermath of this incident that it should be taken lightly. India has admitted that the missile was mistaken, so end the subject now. These things are not easily digested. Pakistan's ally China is also silent on this. That's why these Mistaken missile have done so much right.
