Moments to live ... Vinit Vartak ©

Moments to live ... Vinit Vartak ©

Last week we visited the world's tallest 'Statue of Unity'. Like me, many people from India and around the world came to visit here. Standing in front of the tallest statue in the world and climbing about 450 feet inside it, One can enjoy the image as a whole and what i felt i will write differently on whatever emotions come to my mind. Often the place we visit, that time, that time never comes again. Those moments are worth preserving for a little while in life. But if we are forgetting to live nowadays, how can we preserve that moment?

Wherever the world is, be it the sea, the tall buildings, the historical buildings, the religious buildings, even Everest. When we go to such a place, the most important thing is to experience the moment, to live first. Because before they can be stored, they have to live, their memories have to be created, and then they have to go inside our brain and mind. Then sometimes they are locked inside us and sometimes with the help of technology in the virtual world. But do we live like that? We try to show it to others and we miss to really enjoy and live them. This is what i was seeing around last week. About 90% of the people who come to see the Statue of Unity are busy taking selfies, taking photos, making videos, updating Facebook, Instagram and the rest of them making video calls to tell the rest of us where we are.In all of this, no one could have thought that we were missing to live in those moments while capturing those moments in general.

Since the laser show that takes place there in the evening is famous, I had already book ticket and sat down to experience it. The question arose in my mind as to why we should come here if we don't want to experience what we have spent our precious time and money on to see what is going on in front of us, Most of the people busy in capturing photos and videos of the laser show rather than enjoying it. They all had no idea that people sitting behind having a hard time to watch the show while they are busy in taking photos and videos. Well, why all this, Just to these memories in future. But how often do we see such photos and videos from our mobile phones? Does we really enjoy watching it? If this is not the answer, then what do we get by distorting what is experienced in front of us?

The moments to live is not limited to traveling but it is applicable in every moment of life today. Your private moments should be private. Pre-wedding shoot or photo shoot as well as pregnancy shoot is popular nowadays. It is my clear opinion that all this should be limited to our people. Can the memories of a walk in the garden together before a wedding, a beautiful evening on the beach, a moment spent together on Valentine's Day or a birthday, a long drive to a movie together is compare to the artificially expressed love in that pre-wedding shoot? If not, then what is the purpose of exalting our love? This is just one example. There are so many things that we are forgetting to live. Every happy moment in the house can be captured without being captured on camera. Doesn't it require more personal love and affection than the camera lens and pixels? But we have forgotten all this.

There is no objection to taking photos, taking selfies or overall video, photo shoot or of course his involvement in such moments. There is no quarrel in it. But we have to be strong enough to decide what, when and how much. You just have to be more discriminating with the help you render toward other people. If your boundaries are set, then the moments can come alive and they can be locked in the camera lens. Such memories bring double joy because those moments we have lived and cherished. We need to know the gray line between the virtual world on the one hand and our lives on the other.

There are very few moments in life that are worth living. Those moments is what you take with you as you go. The rest of the moments stuck in the lens of the camera are to be left here, so I sincerely think that you really need to be taught to live the moments. For the virtual world we live in today. Not for myself. When you realize this, that moment and that time will never escape. If you don't want that to happen, live the moment you want to live today.
