Consciousness of the Universe (Part 3)... Vinit Vartak ©

In the previous section, we saw how Einstein defied the laws of quantum mechanics. The scientists of that time did not have the strength to oppose the ERP theory proposed by him and his colleagues. In fact, since we have not progressed so much in terms of technology, it is impossible to resolve the dispute about who is the real one. Einstein died on April 18, 1955. But by that time, many scientific researches were showing that quantum mechanics was suitable for solving many questions in the universe. Quantum mechanics gave answers to the questions that could not be solved by classical physics. But still the dispute about who is right was not settled. The concept of Quantum Entanglement in Quantum Mechanics was not popular with scientists. Scientists were still divided into two groups.

In 1964, Irish physicist John Bell resolved the Einstein and quantum mechanics debate. He presented a theorem called Bell's Theorem. Now let us understand this theorem in simple terms. Bell proposed in mathematical terms that suppose the particles of light had some hidden variables as Einstein expressed in his theorem, or that if the particles were moving with a certain motion, they would not change their state. They will remain in the state they are in. But Bell failed to prove it experimentally.

Here comes the three scientists who won the Nobel Prize this year. These three scientists experimentally proved that quantum mechanics is correct. Einstein is wrong. For this, our first Nobel laureate, John clauser, conducted an experiment in which he used three lenses. One had vertical lines like the bars of a jail door, while the other lens had horizontal lines. Between these two, he installed the lens of the third line at 45 degrees. If Einstein was right, the particle could not have escaped the third lens. Because if nature or Prakriti determined their direction, there was no question of them changing it. But actually the particle changed its direction and came out through the third lens.

To understand this, let us take an example. If the stick is vertical, it will pass through the first lens. From the gap between the two rows. But if it is horizontal, it will stick to the first lens. If the stick was moving vertically, it should have been stuck in the front 45 degree lens. But it doesn't happen. The stick changes its state. It is inclined at 45 degrees and passes through the gap of the lens. Next, it becomes horizontal in front of the third horizontal mesh and passes through it as well. This experiment revolutionized the entire scientific world. This experiment proved that particles change their state like sticks. They can change their position because they are not in any position but they change themselves as the situation arises. This conclusion revolutionized our understanding of quantum mechanics.

Anton Zeilinger, who was the third of these scientists, demonstrated quantum entanglement by making particles. He proved proportionally that regardless of the distance between these particles, one manifests its form at the same instant that the other manifests its opposite form. Apart from this, he demonstrated quantum teleportation based on the laws of quantum mechanics called quantum entanglement.

Quantum teleportation is a technique for transferring quantum information from a sender at one location to a receiver some distance away.

Quantum Entanglement between Quantum Mechanics and its Particles is going to change our entire life in the future. It has started. This bond between two particles is coming as a revolutionary step for message transmission. After quantum teleportation now comes quantum commuting. This computer has the ability to do these calculations at such an incredible speed that you will be amazed. To give an example, a current supercomputer would take a month to crack or find a 15-digit password. (Note here that you have to crack the password by doing as many number combinations as possible with the 15-digit number.) So if you use a quantum computer at that place, less than 1 minute is enough for that computer.

Do you realize what this means? Computers in our hands today or supercomputers in laboratories, research institutes are on the verge of becoming obsolete. Quantum computing is poised to transform the entire world and its information. The Nobel Prize awarded this year is special for this. These three are great not because they proved Einstein wrong, but because they led the world to a new turning point in quantum mechanics.

Although it all seems easy to read, it will take many decades to come true. Around 1938, the first computer was born. It came to India in 1969. And it took 1978 for him to come to our house. The real computer revolution took place at the beginning of the 20th century. When the desktop computer rested in our hands from laptops and iPads to phones. The reason for telling all this is that it took almost a century from the first computer to reach us. Although technology is rapidly changing and advancing, quantum computers may take at least 20-30 years to reach us. Because currently the way this technology works is not useful for our daily use. But this technology will be a boon for research labs, security, mathematics in space.

Many people will have the question, were all the theories proposed by Einstein wrong? Can we go faster than the speed of light then? So the answer is no. Einstein was only wrong about the laws of quantum mechanics, but his theory of relativity is still the foundation of physics today. Even if a particle with quantum entanglement changes its state instantaneously at an infinite distance, we will observe the changed state at the speed of light. What this means is that even if the disc becomes white at a distance of 10 billion light years, it will take 10 billion years for the message that it is white to reach us. That means Einstein is right there. We still cannot receive messages faster than the speed of light.

After reading all this, I am again turning towards Indian culture. What our forefathers wrote in the Vedas about spirituality and the overall cosmic structure seems to be coming true once again. Our ancestors always said or the basis of spirituality is that Prakriti, become one with nature. I strongly suspect that this convergence may be a form of quantum entanglement. It may not be scientifically based but when you are united on a different level you can do the impossible. From taking a bath in ice water to appearing as a god in ancient times. Could this involvement be the basis of the telepathy that many of us experience? Such a question is in my mind. Because when you engage with your man on a different level, distance often doesn't matter.

Often times we are surprised when a person thousands of kilometers away accurately predicts what will happen in a person's life, good or bad. But on a spiritual level, if our aura is in entanglement, then maybe the distance between the two persons does not make any difference. Of course these are my thoughts. I do not promote any religious things or superstitions. So far I have realized that when we think of spirituality from a scientific point of view, many things come together. Who knows, maybe in the future I will get answers to some unsolved questions.

This world is filled with many interesting things. We still don't understand the extent of its spread, let alone its bottom. So even today we cannot be sure that what we see is true. Because what we are seeing can be a form that we come across as an observer. Because the laws of quantum mechanics tell us that this can happen even today. Its complexity is such that it may take decades for these ideas to be digested. But this year's Nobel award has given the whole world the uniform of standing in front of Alibaba's cave. My strong salute to those anonymous researchers who honestly experimented with many possibilities in physics and presented their findings to us. The awareness of the universe that you have made. For that, the entire human race is very grateful to you.
